02/01/2010 THE DISHES ARE DONE MAN!
Hello everybody, Ashton and I are happy to let you all know that we just finished mixing 10 new tracks for our brand new album! we recorded at Manny Nieto Estudio in LA and got a real big raw sound that we dig! Deaf Nephews were on board once again with mind expanding ideas. We did all the tracking in 6 days in October but had to take a break to tour Europe in the winter and we just finished the overdubs and mixing at Nephews closet. We'll keep you all posted on when and where the release dates will be but in the mean time we hope you all enjoy the new jam streaming from our myspace page! thanks to jon mccowen for laying down the sweet saxophonage! OH! and we're doing a small tour through the Southwest so check the tour dates and come say hey!

01/22/2010 EU/UK WINTER TOUR LOOKING BACK... Had a blast this winter in Europe and the UK! Was our first big tour overseas so we'd just like to give a BIG thanks to Bob at Belmont Bookings and all the folks who helped make out trip a great one! Thanks to all those who hosted us, played with us, cooked us meals, let us sleep on their floors and told us jokes that we didn't get! Oh and also thanks to the undercover Slovenian drug agents who pulled us over, patted us down, searched us and our van with drug sniffing dogs and cross referenced our personal information from your mobile high-tech intelligence office in the back of your unmarked cargo van. At least you were gentlemenly about it. Here is an interview we did for THE DRONE in Paris, France...

11/01/2009 happy halloween + NEW MUSIC + more touring We've been working on making a new record. It will be our first full length album filled to the brim with all new songs. We did the tracking at manny nieto's studio in LA and had a real good time. Deaf Nephews were on board once again to produce the record and help keep the crying to a minimum. We'll be adding the final touches in the next couple of weeks and hope to have a few mixes finished soon after. Look for some of the new songs to be released early next year. Also later this month we head to Europe and then the UK for our first official overseas tour so check out the tour page for all the cities and dates. We hope to see some of you there ...bring your mittens!
07/04/2009 A poor carpenter blames his tool The Bird Brothers are happy to announce this independance day that we will be touring the US and parts of Canada supporting TOOL! We will be playing 12 shows over three weeks so check the tour page for all the show dates. We are sure this will be a most rad time, and when it's all over we will pour all that professional experience into recording our first full length record. Happy Birthday America...start the van.
03/23/09 business with pleasure We are extremely pleased to announce that we will be touring the US this spring with our good friends and one of our favorite bands BIG BUSINESS. The six week tour will take us through most major cities accross the US so check out our tour page for a show near you. Also don't forget to bring a few 5's and 10's with you cause we'll be vending a brand spanking new tour EP, new t-shirts, and 12" green vinyl versions of the Reservations EP ...start the van.
02/25/09 NEW TUNES ON THE WAY
Ashton and I are hitting the road in March for a run accross the US. We just recorded a demo of new tunes that will be available as a tour CD and as a 7 inch very soon and maybe we'll put one of those brand new babies on the myspace page for your streaming pleasure! Also the 12" vinyl versions of the Reservations EP are ready for preorder through and . Otherwise you can get em from the Whorses mouth at one of our many many shows this spring. So let's hang out and space out.
02/12/09 Getting Out There February brings us out of hibernation and to a busy start. We are playing 5 show this month... small shows, big shows, in-stores and out doors so check the tour page for the details on on all the local February dates. Oh and once again we will be making our way to SXSW this year so if you're hanging out in Austin make sure to stop by and say hello. We are also hard at work booking a US tour for March/April including 3 shows in NYC so you can avoid our phone calls and emails all you want but we're coming weather you like it or not. -Love, TB
01/20/09 RESERVATIONS ON VINYL So our little EP called RESERVATIONS is on its way to the pressing plant to be made into 12" records thanks to our friends Charlie and Jon at and (respectively). Look for the limited pressing (500) on green vinyl in March and get 'em when you can cause they probably won't last the summer.
